Adam Kiraly, composer and folk singer, has copies of his “Footsteps” CDs for sale in our entry way to benefit our building fund.

Our Rainbow Wreath will be lit Aug. 1 through Pride Sunday, Sept. 5. Rita Cromwell, paid4wisdom@yahoo.com, will coordinate our vendor booth Saturday, Sept. 4.

A Music Ministry rehearsal will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 8. Andy Farmer, jandyfarmer@yahoo.com, is leader.

Thank-you” sheets are available in the entryway to help us be a more gracious people. When you see someone doing good for God and church, help us thank them by filling out a sheet and placing it in the offering basket.

Two visually impaired men are in need of rides to church. Carl Preston lives off Farrow Road in northeast Columbia, 803-699-0340. Steve Waites lives in Gaston, 803-794-6211.

Aluminum cans are being collected each Sunday by in-care licensing student, Jennifer Spears, jennifervspears@aol.com, and Sexton Lois Spears, loistalk1948@aol.com, as part of a church fundraiser.

Patricia Grello, pgrello@sc.rr.com, leads a social-justice Care Circle in West Columbia that volunteers with Harvest Hope Food Bank and with sewing projects for infant clothing.

David Withers and Grant Lorick of Something Special in Irmo provide altar flowers in exchange for donations to our building fund. If you have a special person or occasion to honor or remember, please sign the calendar on our bulletin board.

Care Circles gather twice monthly to share in prayer, devotion and fellowship. These are great places to find friends and ministries. A variety of Care Circle devotions are offered.
